Is there anyway to order the barbarian way t-shirts with the rhino logo on the front of it? A friend of mine went down to origins and came back with one and I would really like to get one. Thanks.

Hi Heath -
We do have those available. The cost is $15 per shirt and we have three colors to choose from - sand, stonewash green, and grey. We will be adding those to our product guide very soon. You can go to the following link to download a product guide. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me or Laura Gregg at resources@mosaic.org.

Is there a workbook or study guide to accompany “The Barbarian Way” series? Thanks!

Not yet, but it is a great book to go through with a group on its own. There are Barbarian Way dvds and cds of the sermon series Erwin did a few months ago. Contact resources@mosaic.org for more details.

I attended the Origins conference last year and you had a couple of skits with super hero characters. Do you make drama scripts available for purchase?

My pastor gave several of us “The Barbarian Way” for a gift at Christmas. I just finished my second time through it underlining and writing comments. Oswald Chambers wrote in “My Utmost for His Highest”, “The author that benefits you most is not the one who tells you something you not know before, but the one who gives expression to the truth that has been dumbly struggling in your for utterance.” This is true of Pastor and Cultural Architect Erwin McManus. Thank you for putting into words what my soul and spirit have known all along but could not adequately express. Sometimes we just need to know that the Barbarian life is possible inorder to live it. And, it helps to know there are other Barbarians out there…

I visited Mosaic when attending the urban youth workers institute. My son is a student at the University of Arizona and is willing to get our web sight up to par. I was planning on majoring in Graphic Arts while in high school before coming to the conclusion that Jesus wanted me to attend Bible College and I am not satisfied with our web sight-it desperately needs work. My son is willing to get our web sight more up to date-graphics, art work, design and putting our teachings on the web also.
Could you please send me information on who handles your web sight-it is amazingly cool and how we could bring our sight into the 21st century.

Looking for resources for a college age group. I will email your resources people because I too am interested in DVDs related to Erwin’s books. But I’m also wondering what other things you would suggest. We have finished almost all of the NOOMA’s, and I am looking for where to go next. Thanks.

If Mosaic is interested in racial reconciliation and ethnic reconciliation then Mosaic might be interested in a Documentary film about the 1992 L.A. Riots and the efforts at racial reconciliation and ethnic reconciliation afterward and now in Los Angeles ;
I could try to arrange the lecture and Documentary Film called I think “A Share in the Deal” by some locally well-known Korean-American leaders. This lecture and film were recently shown to law students at USC Law School in L.A.
Almost 15 years have passed since the L.A. Riots and racial/ethnic tensions in L.A. remain high despite public perceptions and poor reporting by the mass media.
Few people realize this but over 200 Chinese and Chinese-American owned businesses were destroyed during the 1992 Los Angeles riots so the vandalism, looting and arson were not limited to Korean and Korean-American owned businesses in L.A. County.
The tensions in L.A. are not limited to the
Asian/Asian-American and black communities. There is a virtual race war going on between African-American and Latino-American L.A. area street gangs as reported
by the police and many media sources.

If anyone from Mosaic is interested in the House Church Movement in mainland China (P.R.C.) then there is a free seminar on May 20th at the William Carey Univ. Auditorium in Pasadena, examining the Chinese house Churches.
Free Lunch is offered also. Numerous Chinese Church leaders and well known Christian scholars will examine the miraculous explosion in the house churches in China since 1950.
The evangelical Chinese Christian population in the P.R.C. now numbers about 6 percent excluding the State sponsored church which is controlled by the Communist government. Six percent of 1.3 billion persons is about 78 million evangelical Christians in mainland China. 78 million persons willing to die or suffer torture for their faith. Some say that there are now more true followers of Christ in the P.R.C. than in the U.S.
Much of the credit for the phenomenal growth in the Chinese House Church movement is attributed to China Ministries International (CMI) and its founder Dr. Jonathan Chao.
Some speakers will address house church growth related to CMI’s three-fold vision and Dr. Chao.
