No, I'm not from Russia, but from Sweden. this message still moved me, connected to me at a "gut level". this is what the church needs, this is what I need...

Melvin, Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your hard work on the Podcast! So many of us are blessed (and challenged) by these Podcasts! Pastor Jon Tyson, his family, and other members of Origins NYC love them!

I've got the same issues with losing the last minutes of the podcast. I haven't listened all the way through with iTunes, only with my iPod Mini.

Thanks for looking into the problem. Erwin always gets to a really good final point and then it's gone.

Hey

I have the same problem when i play the podcast on my iPod. it works fine in iTunes though.

I have to say that i look forward to getting the podcast every week (even if the last minute cuts off). Thanks so much for all of your hard work and for making this available to anyone anywhere.

heyho, greetings from cologne, germany, europe and thanks for this podcast. i really enjoyed to listen to the core values and finding it inspiring for what we do here in building a community.

did erwin mention wood as the third core value? or did i just miss it? ;-)

by the way, germany is well known for fine arts, good songs and all the stuff. just to mention j. s. bach. anyway, i have the same issue, listening to the podcast on my ipod cuts of the end, but if i listen to it in itunes, it is fine ...

are the problems with the podcast happening while playing through itunes or ipod? we're trying to replicae this technical issue so that we can resolve it. i checked the mp3 file itself and it seems to be fine. any other issues can be sent to me at webmaster@mosaic.org

I'm also losing the tail end of the podcasts. I think it might have something to do with iPods and the VBR encoding that Mosaic is using. Looks like there was a bug in the past that was supposedly fixed, but I'm not so sure now.

Thanks for listening!

Richard, Erwin had just shared a similar message at Leadership Advance, our annual leadership training for our volunteer staff (leaders don't retreat, that's why we call it our "Leadership Advance" rather than retreat). He shared the message for everyone on Jan. 22nd. We generally send out the podcasts on Monday, as long as there are not technical problems, hence the date being listed as 1/23. Finally, "Rapid Advance" has been the series we are doing on Sundays. We are hitting some of the basics we feel everyone in our community needs to hear. It was longer since he covered all 5 of our core values.

Thanks for spreading the word! Chasing Daylight begins Feb. 12th!

Blessings,

Eric Bryant

Something that Erwin said has really stuck with me. He said, “The church is more concerned with stopping sin than releasing the potential in us! WOW! Aint that the truth. It is so much more powerful to know that I was created for something great, and not just that I was created a sinner. That's an important distinction.
