I have (and have given to all of my leaders) “Seizing Your Divine Moment” and generally pick up Erwin’s books right away but I was wondering were there any differences in the two.

Urshel,
The differences between Seizing Your Divine Moment and Chasing Daylight or in its look and tone. It is more user-friendly for seekers. For the most part it is the same content, chapters, and stories. Thanks for sharing this book with your leaders in the past! This new version would be great for the people in your life who could become your future leaders whether they know Christ quite yet or not!

Hey, my church went to the “Student Life Tour 06″ this past weekend and I got home late last night.
Our church is from Pleasant Hill Baptist in Rives,
TN and we went to the Nashville conference. I loved it so much! It was so moving and awesome. Charlie Hall rocked hard and really influenced the youth age.
I really enjoyed the pastor, Erwin McManus, also because he preached in a way kids could understand and he always had a story behind what he was saying and I love the stories about his son and how he jumped off the roof and how he wouldnt come down the stairs after he went up. I also enjoyed how yall were at the beach and you tried to avoid the guy and your son wouldnt let you because he wanted to help the man. I highlighted that verse in my bible.

Oh man. Mosaic has to be the only church on the planet using EMINEM for sermon series trailers.
This is pretty much the coolest thing ever.
Ever.

WOW. What an awesome trailer for the series. That’s what I love the most. No hiding behind walls or putting up facades in any way… just real, hardcore truths in a head on way that stays the pace with our world today. Bringing Jesus back to life with meaning and impact for how we live right here, right now!!
Bravo.

I’ve been looking for a good church and a long admired musician that I just came in contact with suggested you to me. I love the web-site and I love the message your church has and how you reach out to people! I’ll see you on sunday, God Bless.

Mosaic has been a loving community ever since I was such a little kid,From attending the pre schools to one day entering one of the small groups or more (if possible) to really find more potential then I ever thought could ever exist for me. I have not read the book to be honest but through the people at mosaic I can see a shadow now that the light is more brighter for me then it has ever been before, I am chasing daylight.

What a great series!
Hello from Melbourne, Australia!
I listen to the podcasts each week and have the book to read over the holiday.
Oh, and the trailer….no churchy music! gritty, gutsy, really real. keep breaking those stereotypes!
WAY TO GO MOSAIC!
BTW is Erwin coming to Australia soon????
Mar 27th, 2006 at 7:21 am
Erwin is speaking at Hillsong in May in Australia. I am coming with him, so hope to see you there! For a rough estimate of Erwin’s speaking schedule, go to www.erwinmcmanus.com.

Hey,
I just [read: yesterday] finished “Seizing Your Divine Moment”. Good stuff. Bought “The Barbaria Way” today. I am nowhere near LA…I live in Georgia…but I like what you guys have going on.
If I’m ever out there…I would love the experience.
Keep it real!

Hi
A group of us have recently read chasing daylight together and had a weekly breakfast discussion. This book is a great help in bringing God’s people together and moving in His presence. Great job.

What a great way to live life… I’m reading both Standing in the Wind and Chasing Daylight and learning to breathe again! My wife and I live in south america and don’t get a chance to worship in English very often, but I attend Mosaic through podcasts weekly. THANK YOU for just preaching post-modern but utilizing the technology too!
