i listened to this podcast, and thought i had saved an archive of it on my hard drive. now i can't find it. does anyone have the mp3/aac file they could send me or post on this site. Erwin did a great job of explaining baptism, and i wanted to listen to it again

Thank you so much for this Erwin. I see Baptism as something so much more apart of our faith now. I also wanted to thank you for addressing the Baptism of the Spirit. How the Israelites didn't get immursed in water in the Red Sea, but the reality of who God was and wanted to be to them. It was such a blessing to listen to this heart-changing, thought-provoking podcast!

I think that Baptism can have a 'icky' feel about it so often. "Yeah we do this, but we're not sure why and we're a bit embarassed about it!" Many churches seem to see it as nothing more than an evagelistic excuse. It's awesome to here Erwin explain the guts of something that is intrinsic to the faith expression of following Jesus.

May it continue.

Thanks

Wow. While all the things EW said agreed with my personal beliefs regarding baptism, I have never heard it put so eloquently, passionately, and challenging. Growing up in the "Bible Belt" buckle, it seems that though there are many nominal Christians, I am afraid there are many who have not followed their faith into the water grave. It concerns me further that so many denoms have a doctrine of baptism so distant from that of the evidence given to us through Scripture.
