What a breath of fresh air. Thank you, Kim, for sharing your heart with us Sunday morning. I love how the Lord brings new life to familiar passages, and touches my heart in new ways. Thank you for being ALIVE!! Incredible…

Kim: I like the way you openly revealed your thought patterns in physical/earthly car traffic and in the spiritual traffic in your soul. Our Toronto traffic is almost as bad as LA -I assume. I was first on the scene of an accident one day a few years ago and can relate to accidents as well … I’m thinking - He is so constantly refining us ..daily it seems..with earthly situations. Sometimes we just need to reflect - look back , it seems, and realize He was there ! He had us in the rock cleft like Moses, hid our face while He came at us and then uncovered our face so we could see His Glory …and the earthly experiences hitting all our 5 senses just give us so much dimension/depth when combined to each seed of Truth from God’s Word that we carry in our mind,soul..heart.
I had an incredible moment at a Starbucks here in Toronto,on Maundy Thursday before Easter when an angel-like woman named Michelle encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and preach a message at our church on april 30th. God showed up in a Starbucks yet again :-) (similar to your friend Susan, it sounds- Kim) and He really spoke thru you..kinda of wild surreal experience for me .. upon reflection .. Thanks for your continued encouragement Kim, and Michelle. Thanks be to Jesus Christ our Lord and King for freedom/salvation and unmeritted favour..

I really really understand the need for good coffee but let’s challenge ourselves (step out ala Johnathon in 1st Samuel chapter 14 ) to cut that coffee expense in half and sponsor a child thru www.compassion.ca ..we did this venture last Sunday as a family ..it feels great !..and you can be assured that 95% of your money actually gets there to the impoverished child.. it is a big commitment, i know, but the Lord is in this ..I guess as the engineer once asked Erwin when you moved your church locale..not sure it qualifies as a barbarian move but hey it’s a start..and maybe..He will form some other ideas for us as well ..let’s make sure no one can take our rhino-crash by the horn..and show we are not the blind leading the blind.. :-)
