I was in town that weekend for the urban youth workers institute in Azusa and visited on Sunday before heading back home to Chicago...
It was a very inspirational and dynamic message... Thank you for preaching JESUS!

Awesome. Love the reference to Jesus teaching on the hillside saying 'you are the salt and light of the earth' He envisioned us - you and me - as these people.
He did not say sit there and listen to me.
Sit there and read about me.
He says become like me - filled with light of the Father and start doing the Father's Work/Will/Plan.. wow

Passion: Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Somewhere else it says Jesus set his face like flint before entering the city.. and then He fashioned the cords into a whip to clear out the money changers in the temple. Like the idea we should be at least as passionate as non followers of Christ who are passionate about their work.

This was gold! I've just spent some time in Haiti on a medical mission and to see the poverty of people there and to try to bring them some hope when they have none touched my life. The word says to give a reason for the hope that is within us, how about we start to show other people that there is hope?

Vision
Passion
Mission

Giving our lives away for other people, that is what the world needs.

Read Is. 58:6-12

It's so great to find people so alive half-way around the world! I'm from South Africa and have listened to almost all your podcasts. It's been really inspiring and helpful!

Erwin, let us know when you want to visit South Africa. I work for Walk Thru the Bible here and we'd love to arrange a conference for you when you come.

Blessings to you and your team!

Hey Erwin

Greetings from beautiful New Zealand! It was to our dismay that we heard that the other week you were only 2 hours drive north of us in Christchurch! It would have been great to hear what you shared at the New Life Conferance, oh well I guess it happens :) I'll hafta 'suggest' to my churches leadership that we get you out to the NZ Baptist Conferance next year lol.

I hope you enjoyed your time in NZ and that you got to see at least a little bit of the scenery.

Cheers
