I find this podcast very refreshing and inspiring. Erwin really succeds in retelling the old story of a personal God who came to reconnect us with him. As the redemption story of the gospels is the one and only great myth which became history, we need to find again fresh words and a new language to whisper this great secret into the ear of modern mankind.

Erwin makes me laugh out loud while I’m commuting in on the train and subway. The references to Peter Frampton and the Norwegian joke ..ya ya crack me up. Then I try hard to surpress my laughter in case someone on the train thinks i may be demonized.
I feel the same about the Omen previews on the tube. they are just creepy.
..so yeah here we are in a spiritual battle against unseen forces..and that kinda sums it up ..
again my thoughts go to John 17 where Jesus is praying to the Father and He prays about us saying ‘Father protect the ones that hear My and Your voice from the evil one’
I so look forward to the podcasts ! Let’s all be inspired to labor hard in this harvest while we can. Appreciate you all - mosaics..rhinos..

I love how Erwin talks about Jesus as if He was still walking around in the world today but we just missed seeing Him; as if Jesus left the room just before we arrived and Erwin is there to pass along a message Jesus left for us.
It strikes me how many people are willing to accept Jesus existed so as long as He is actually not the guy He said He was. I think people do this because they honestly believe that humanity is so broken that no one could really want to be the friend and champion for the unlovable to point of losing their life to save them.
I think this is one reason why conspiracies will continue to exist. It justifies our self loathing - it gives us the excuse to not rise up to the challenge of living a life of nobility and to realise the potential of our talents. Ultimately, the conspiracies surrounding Jesus gives us justification for not living the life God created us to live.

I’m glad that Mosaic is a community that is moving to shake those conspiracies in peoples lives.
