A "good excuse" seems to be the prefered mask. Truth is, as accomplished as anyone can be in this life, there are still those underlying issues that we all deal with. The feeling that we really aren't good enough, the prospect of "What if 'they' hate what I have to bring to the table." As a people it seems like our biggest fear is rejection. Maybe that speaks a lot into what we've seen throughout the scriptures for years. We live in freedom now as Christ followers. So live like it! Do His will (Love Him and love others), and do it the best way you've been gifted to do it, and if you're afraid, pray that He would take that fear away, and He will.
