   Hey erwin,

   I thought your message was amazing.

   In thought of what Jesus was writing in the sand have you considered:

   Leviticus 20:10
   ” ‘If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

   Then the second time He may have wrote “Where is the man”

   According to the law of mosses which they will still bound by they where in direct sin at that verry moment by bringing only the women to be stoned to death.

   Some may have been without sin up until that moment*(not that they have lived perfect lives since birth, but there was forgiveness available through the law of moses and there sins just like today where washed away.)

   No one could have thrown a stone without sinning and Jesus new this, it was not a matter of saying he who has never sinned throw the first stone but he was not sinning by not bringing the man with the women so they could both be stoned.

   I don’t want this to sound like I am justfying standing there with a rock in your hand or that we should not take the position of Jesus to be merciful and forgiving as I agree with your message completly.

   I just thought you might find it interesting. Of course like you said no one realy knows what he wrote but it may have been something along those lines.
