I love listening to these podcasts during the day while I'm drafting away. I love how God has been orchestrating different communities in my life that all lead the same direction. God's direction in my life is to freedom and out condemnation. Realizing that I don't need to perform for His love/relationship the way I have to perform for the worlds love/relationship. The talks that I hear from Mosaic help me process as I live life what I believe about God and what I believe I was created for.

Take care!

I have been listening to Mosaic audio podcasts for a while now and really enjoy the message that is communicated and the thought-provoking topics. However I've noticed that there hasnt been an udpated Audio podcast since the first of the series on Soul environments on itunes. Am just wondering are they only appearing on video now and not audio??

I just listened to "Opening your world". This is so true. I have been learning alot about the fallen nature we struggle with. Until we let Christ take our guilt, burdens, shame..., which allows us to reunite with God, we are unable to see past our own world. We are confined to protecting what we have left because the world tells us that we have nothing to offer and no one will accept us if they really know us. That is the fallen world we live in. God is the only one that gives us value because he created us valuable. When we accept His value(base only on Love value not performance value) and then accept that we are valuable, then we can open our world to others and give real value based on Gods value system and not the worlds value system, based on performance. This is what I am growing in right now in my life. It is very exciting.

I think a good way to end service at mosaic would be to play or perform the song broken by lifehouse. It worked for me lisening to the message and then lisening to lifehouse maybe it will work for you too.

I have a question for Pastor Erwin and for anyone else who would like to respond. First let me say I just finished reading "Soul Cravings" and it was great. For so many years I've been trying to prove Jesus is real through apologetics like by reading books by Lee Strobel but no matter how much knowledge I tried to gather to prove it to me I still wasn't satisfied.

There were still questions that I know that could never be answered in this life that plaqed me and caused me to still not trust in Jesus.

"Soul Cravings" is helping understand that all the proof I may need is that my Soul cravs. So what I need to look for is the God that will feed my craving and that God appears to be Jesus at this point.

Just got done listening to a sermon by Pastor Erwin where he talked about communicating and listening to God. One of the ways to listen to God is to read the Bible. I have a little problem with this because I don't believe at this point that the Bible is the inspired word of God. I use to claim that I did but honestly I can say now that I don't.

There are certain scriptures in the Bible I have a very hard time wrapping my mind around and believing, my soul doesn't really seem to connect either. However, there are other scriptures like the gospels and the things that Jesus said and did and scripture like 1 Cor 13 (love chapter) that my soul delights in and wants to believe in or rather believes is true.

So where do I go from here? How should someone like me approach the Bible? I don't want to be someone who picks and chooses what he wants in the Bible to suit my beliefs, however I can't say with confidence that the whole Bible is God's inspired word.

Maybe I just read the Bible and when my soul is fed it's fed, when it's not it's not. What do you think?
