Do I need an iPod to listen to the files?
No. Podcasts can be listened to in your computer or any portable player that supports mp3. However, the iPod integration with iTunes is superb.

How many episodes of the Podcast will be available?
Our audio podcast features the last four episodes, sometimes more. Older episodes are also made available in addition to the the four recent episodes. We are not currently adding new videos to the video podcast, but an archive of older video episodes are available. Older messages are also available on CD or DVD through the Awaken Resources page at http://awaken.org/resources.

Can I burn a CD of the Podcast?
As long as it’s not for resale or profit, you can burn the Podcast to a CD.

How frequently will you update?
Updates will be available weekly.

What format is the Podcast available in?
The audio podcast is encoded in MP3 format. For those curious about our settings, we use iTunes-Lame, a mac only application. We encode at around 50kbps using LAME settings “-v -V 6 -m m -h”, which translates to Variable Bit Rate Low, Mono, High.

The video podcast is encoded in the iPod compatible H.264 format. For people interested in how we get such a small file size at such a good quality, we use Viddy-Up!, a mac only application. We encode using 320×240, H.264, MultiPass with Good Quality.
