| Restore is a ministry that helps people listen to God. As a person obediently acts on what God reveals to him/her, we see lives become restored - returning to the original design for life that God intended for us. Our goal is to help people restore a right relationship with God, others and self.
Prayer is meant to be a two way street. However, we often find it easier in our busy lives to communicate to God our needs and wants than to be still and listen to what the Lord is communicating to us. Sometimes we know when God is giving us input in our daily lives, and other times we are not quite so sure. At times, it is also hard to hear from God because we have not dealt with something in our lives that is blocking intimate communication with Him. The Restore ministry team exists to help us learn how God is communicating with us, find healing from past wounds, habits, and unhealthy family legacies, and live life the way He intended us to live. Restore team members simply facilitate a conversation between God and the person we are praying with. In our prayer sessions, we constantly ask God questions, from “Where should we begin Father?” to requesting very specific information about important events that a person needs to know to be able to deal with issues in his/her life, and find healing and freedom from them in Christ. |
| Restore provides group training as well as individual prayer sessions. Group training is periodically offered at the Pasadena site (more sites to come), and can also be done for your small group. Individual prayer sessions can be scheduled on the 1st Thursday (6:45PM) and 3rd Sunday (11:15AM) at the Pasadena site (with a few dates changed due to holidays) in Room U-5 of the McGavran Building (3rd Floor) and sometimes can be scheduled on other dates. [See the Orientation document for more dates and information.] |
| Training modules for small groups, ministry or Serve the World teams include:
- Listening to God - one session |
| Individuals who seek clarity in their communication with God or desire freedom in some area(s) of their life are requested to complete and return by email a questionnaire as well as bring a trusted friend to the prayer session.
Communication with Restore team members is available through: restore@mosaic.org |
