OUR WORK

For 20+ years, Mosaic Global has traveled the world to partner with those living in developing countries, with the goal of transforming lives, empowering communities and creating the future.

Kim McManus serves as the director of Mosaic Global and oversees every Mosaic Global trip.

In Malawi, Mosaic Global has built relationships with the chiefs, NGOs and the people of Chilinza Village for over five years. There, we partner with the Live Love organization, which is focused on bringing transformation to rural African communities.

SHAPING THE FUTURE

This year, Mosaic Global broke ground on a new elementary school in Chilinza Village, which will serve 1,600 students 1st through 8th grade.

The future Chilinza Village Elementary School will include 12 classrooms, an office, a nurse station, new latrines, a kitchen, and security around the entire building. Right now, Chilinza Village’s 1st and 2nd grade students attend school outside. They work without desks or chairs, sitting on the ground. The 3rd-7th graders are housed in a building, but only two of the classrooms have furniture.

Mosaic Global’s goal is that every child in Chilinza Village regularly attends primary school in a classroom with a desk, one provided meal a day, and medical care onsite. Beyond completing elementary school, this paves the way for students to continue their education through high school and college.

We believe education has the power to shape futures. Through this school, students will not only change their life trajectory, but what lies ahead for Chilinza Village and Malawi as a whole.

YOUR GENEROSITY WILL HELP BUILD A NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAMPUS THAT INCLUDES:

  • 12 Classrooms
  • Kitchen and Student Meal Program
  • Solar Energy
  • Medical Center
  • Library
  • Training and Athletic Equipment
