Hope is necessary for our very survival. Fear takes from us but hope prepares us. In Romans 15:13 it says "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." We can approach our life with fear or with hope. When we trust that God is good, we’re ready to receive all He has for us. Hope is the expectation of good things.

What does it look like to expect bad things? It looks like fear. When we choose hope, we live life preparing for the best. Remembering hope chooses optimism. We have to assume the best in people. If we believe people are out to get us, we can never fully trust. We must remember hope chooses ownership over the outcome. We have ownership of our life. What matters is how we come out of the situation. Hope takes ownership of the outcome.

Fear does not makes us safe, it makes us sad but we know it’s not easy to put hope into something that's risky. If we don't trust God with our lives and don't expect the best, we can miss Him. We must go all in with the life God has for us to be ready for the future He’s preparing. When we trust God with everything, God’s love will be poured into our life and we will experience a life FILLED with hope!

“Hope gladly anticipates the good things that are coming and prepares room for them.” - Brooke Figueroa
